Hugh Jackman is demonstrating his versatility this month as he juggles the opening of the new action movie Real Steel and his Broadway return as a song-and-dance man in Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway. On October 5, Jackman previewed the film on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, explaining how former boxing champ Sugar Ray Leonard trained him to enter the ring with robots. An obviously enthralled Stewart expressed his excitement over seeing Jackman throw punches with his Real Steel mechanical co-stars and gave a brief plug to Jackman’s live show, which begins a 10-week run at the Broadhurst Theatre on October 25.
